Congratulations to David and Mary who were married at the beginning of this month! I was soooooo excited when Mary called me and as I said before we hit it off right away! I had so much fun doing their engagment session and bridals that I knew their wedding would be a blast! I know they have been itching to see a sample of their wedding and it’s finally here!!! Again congratulations and we wish you a marriage full of tons of love and laughter!This picture cracks me up!!! I guess it doesn’t matter how old you are, your parents will always be your parents! : ) I think these next two shot shots will almost have to be my top favorite two!!!!First Look! I’ve said it again and again….I love doing First Looks! We get to spend some quality time with just the bride and groom and every time we have gotton some great shots, with true emotion in them! Mary called me a few hours before the ceremony and told us that she had decided to do this and I am so glad that they did!We were testing out a third photographer this past wedding and he managed to get some GREAT shots! Nell and I were downstairs and he stayed with the bride as she was getting ready to walk out to the ceremony. We would have never gotton these without that third perspective! I’m so glad he came!!!I had to add this picture! As we were waiting for the ceremony to begin, this little girl had fun walking up and down the aisle. We think that the parents of this little girl need to keep this picture and frame it for when she gets married!!! Too cute!!

Mary’s Bridals

Alexis + Brian : Wedding

Alexis & Brian were married a few weeks ago at the Dallas Arboretum. Everything about their wedding was amazing…all the details, all the colors, the fairytale setting, and most importantly the bride & groom. I fell in love with this couple the first time I met them. They are awesome and I am so happy for them! Congrats Alexis & Brian!!!

Alexis & Brian did a “first look” before the ceremony. I cannot say enough good things about doing a first look. They are the only way to go! It’s the bride & groom alone (with me & Lindsey on the sidelines) for a few minutes before the ceremony. It’s very intimate and very sweet.

You know when you meet someone and you feel like you’ve known them forever! That’s how I felt last night when I met David and Mary. They are getting married August 7th and I couldn’t be happier or more excited to shoot their wedding! We shot their engagement pics last night at their home, which by the way was a photographer’s dream! I promised to get their pics up asap, so here are a few of my favorites!!!! I LOVED this wedding! The details were amazing, the wedding ceremony had so many original ideas, the reception was BEAUTIFUL!!! My favorite picture that I have ever taken is the one where Tonni is crying during her first dance with Irving! So Sweet! Congratulations Tonni and Irving!
